This is a song I composed after my first Freak Guitar Camp. There will be a different version of this song on the new album. Enjoy!

Sitting in my studio one day, I received a phone call from a friend. She and someone else were arguing over something. I got a little tense about the situation and started playing my guitar. A tense, quiet sort of groove came out...I hit record, turned around, and played what you hear in 1 take. Listen for the chair turning around and my fingers placing themselves on the strings after I hit record, but before I start playing.

This one ended up being all over the place. It is like 4 or 5 songs pieced together in short clips with a weird intro. Whatever....
A Run Through the Jungle

This is a song I wrote to introduce my guitar students to the wonderful guitar technique called tapping. If you close your eyes and listen to it, you can imagine yourself in a cheesy commercial for some lame product that is only on tv at 2:00 in the morning running in slow motion through a jungle. No really, its true.....Do you think the guitars are loud enough in this one?

I'm not fond of the title for this one, although I liked it when I first thought about it. This one sounds more like something you would hear at a weird dance club than it does a cool metal tune.
